SYNOPSIS
LA CORDONNIÈRE tells the story of Victoire Du Saut, founder of the shoemaking company that made the Dufresnes’ fortune, better known for the castle that bears their name in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Although the entrepreneurial spirit and professional career of this visionary are admirable, it is above all her love affair that forms the heart of this melodrama where an impossible love, a sulphurous love triangle and a shocking family secret are intertwined.
