French Summer Camp

July 5th to August 27th, 2021

  • The summer camp takes place every day from 8:30 am to 3 pm. Morning sign-in from 8:15 to 8:30 am.
  • Required age: from 5 to 12 years old
  • Good knowledge of French required
  • Location: École des Pionniers, 1618 Patricia avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3B 4A8
  • Cost: $170/week or $40 daily drop-in
  • Administration fee: $25
  • After camp day care: from 3pm to 5pm. Cost: $10/day
  • Please note that all activities have been redesigned to respect social distancing ant other guidelines.

Themes of the 2021 summer camp

Maillardville summer camp is an opportunity for children aged 6 to 12 to practice their French while having fun! Featuring outdoor outings, outdoor games, sports, artistic workshops, scientific experiments, cultural activities and much more…

Each week will be organized around the following themes (subject to the sanitary conditions):

  • Lights, camera, action! in Maillardville - Go behind the camera and experience a behind-the-scenes of a film set. The 7th art will have no more secrets for you!
  • Aspiring biologists - Discover the microscopic life that lurks beneath your feet!
  • Reveal your inner clown! - One week to find and perfect your clown through improvisation, costume creation and makeup workshops!
  • Mission Alpha - Travel through space aboard the Crew-2 Dragon capsule and help Thomas Pesquet complete his mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
  • Little Van Gogh - A creative week focused on painting and drawing.
  • Maillardville 2021 Olympic Games - Sport for all tastes!
  • Canadian idol - Sing and dance like celebrities!
  • 2000 leagues under the sea - Just like Captain Nemo, discover the aquatic life!

Outings to the swimming pool will be organized, subject to changes in sanitary instructions.
