A Community Store Giving Items a Second Life
The Société francophone de Maillardville is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of On va s’aimer encore, a community thrift store set to open this September.
More than just a thrift store, this project is designed to bring people together around values of sharing, community support, and environmental responsibility. By giving clothing, books, jewelry, and other everyday items a second life, we help reduce waste, encourage reuse, and make quality items accessible to everyone.
We are currently preparing for the opening and are looking for volunteers to help set up the store, sort donations, organize displays, and assist during opening hours. Whether you can contribute a few hours occasionally or volunteer on a regular basis, your help will make a meaningful difference.
Donations are accepted on Mondays and Tuesdays only. We welcome clothing, jewelry, books, and other items that are clean, unstained, and in good condition.
On va s’aimer encore is a project created by and for the community. By donating, shopping, or volunteering, you help support an initiative that encourages reuse, protects the environment, and strengthens community connections.
